About Anduramba Homstead

Anduramba homestead

Anduramba Homestead will be opening from the 1st July, only taking bookings for 1 couple for a 2 night minimum stay or up to 4 guests from 1 household. Due to the on-going nature of COVID-19 and the imposed restrictions, we are working hard to ensure the health and safety of our guests at all times. In order to comply with the Queensland Government, we have made the decision to only have one room available at a time. This will ensure that you will receive a more personalised stay, and it also gives us sufficient time to clean our rooms in line with our COVID safe plan.

There is only one room available at a time on our website, should you require more for persons in your same household, please contact us directly. We thank you for your on-going patience as we navigate our way in the ever evolving situation.

Anduramba Homestead Bed & Breakfast is situated at  Crows Nest Queensland    a country style homestead nestled in the High Country , just 45 minutes north of Toowoomba, on the crest of the Great Dividing Range enjoying a beautiful view at 680 metres. The cool breezes in Summer are delightful, blowing in from the coast less the humidity.

Whether you are just passing through or planning a weekend getaway, Anduramba Homestead and the surrounds provide a beautiful environment for unwinding and taking a break from the outside world.

The Homestead has a story to tell, dating back to the early 1900’s, with this history comes an elegant charm and sense of place. Surrounded by expansive gardens and wildlife it will be hard not to find your favourite space to enjoy the harmony of the area.         Breakfast is served  in the formal dining room on fine bone china or on the deck overlooking the protea flower  farm with a backdrop of native gum trees. Breakfast is included in the room  rate.

For people who would like more to do then just relax and take in the views, there is an abundance of things to do and see in the area, such as  dining  at the incredible Emeraude Restaurant Hampton, eating out at the Woods Cafe Ravensbourne, Horse Trail Rides at Cowboy Up, bird walks, trails, hikes, lakes, parks, wineries, olive groves, museum, golf , bowling  and lookouts, which the hosts will gladly map out for you.

About the Host, Sandra

About your host I have always lived in the country born in Central Queensland and moving to Western Queensland when I was young, I spent a lot of time riding horses and motorbikes helping my parents on a sheep and cattle property. Spent most of my working life with my husband Andrew working in our own business's . The last 10 years has been spent developing a farming property on the southern side of Toowoomba growing grain and cattle. I saw this beautiful house advertised on the web and thought it looked interesting when we drove in the gate it had a fantastic feeling of peace and tranquility.

I enjoy sharing the country hospitality that I have grown up with. With our  three beautiful daughters pursuing their careers, it is nice to do something completely different.

I have had an interest in old homes, they have  an individual personality and feel to them each one is different.

My motto in life is to enjoy what you do, life is too short not to be happy.
